What’s The Product Review Sites Method?

The Product Review Sites Approach To Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is among the best way to earn online owing to the less risk involved and minimal start-up costs. You basically, sell other peoples’ products for a percentage of the sale price.

The big players like EBay, Amazon etc. may pay out a tiny 5% but other companies pay a huge 75%+. These products include software, scripts, eBooks or even medicines.

Do they say, “They’re many ways to skin a cow?” Well, that same principle applies here. Affiliate marketing can be done in many ways i.e. the methods one needs to apply to get people to see their offering and be satisfied from what they’ve seen to hit that buy button there and then.

It is a fact that many affiliates never make as much money as they dream or as was promised by the recent eBook they read. This depends on many factors that we may cover later on but the list may seem endless.

The main point you need to grasp here is that you MUST target people who are looking to buy or interested in your product or service otherwise, all you’ll get are site hits counter values to show for your marketing efforts and little by way of real monetary earnings.

So, How Do Your Target Buyers?

  • The best approach that I can think of is via good keyword research – cough, cough :)

Yeah, there’s some element of research involved but this is never as complicated as many make out and once you know the workings of the research, you simply apply the same principle to any niche you enter.

We’ve actually gone a head and did it all for you here

  • Okay, you have your keywords now you find the product that you can market in line with those niche keywords you just found.
  • Do some basic research into the product and read up on what others are saying about it and the seller of the said product.
  • Setup a review site for that product and drive traffic to it.

If you did your keyword research correctly, you’ll be getting some free rankings and traffic from the search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing etc Try and work with a product name keyword for your domain name and the review site’s content pages. Dedicate a page to each related keyword you found. Oh, be careful about the copy rights as some companies may ask you to take down your site though rare.

Build links via blog comments, trackbacks, bookmarking sites, social sites, your other online properties, article directories etc and link to all pages not just the home page – but you knew that already :)

People are most likely to buy from review sites than stand alone sites based on the fact that at that very moment they’ve been sold by the positive feedback they’ve seen on that site. Avoid having more than 3 products on the same site. Just compare 3 products as a maximum per site though you may have other affiliated links for visitors to follow should they chose to.

The idea is that you setup your review site to attract site visitors and urge them to taking that credit card action, after informing them about the product they already know they want to buy – Pre-selling.

You can use many platforms out there for your sites but we personally use WordPress customised blog sites which are great for driving traffic to the corresponding product review sites. You can see our sample Complete Niche Blog & Review Sites here.

Online business is a numbers game most times. So having several sites with each bringing in a little $ here and there does amount to a lot of $s by the end of the month. So, keep building your portfolio until you hit the figure you need. Don’t do it blindly, if something in not working, test, tweak and get back to it BUT that doesn’t mean you should hop from opportunity to another either.

Do check out these Complete PLR Blog & Review Sites to see what we’re talking about.
