Google Adsense – Do People Still Earn With Google Adsense?
We’re being asked this question by a lot of people these days so we thought it best to make a post about it.
Well, the answer in a word is, YES!
But before you run and check your account, you have to understand how AdSense works and the theory or technique behind earning a lot of money through it.
You’ll need to stop looking for the magic bullet and approach this more like you would a real brick & motar business – Sorry!
The fact is Google Adsense pays and it pays well for more or less zero comparable effort but you’ll get out what you put into it.
Garbage in, Garbage out – Sad as that may be it’s just life in general my friend. I also guess it’ll always be that way.
But don’t Despair!
These few optimization tips can help you grow your Google Adsense dollar:
Pick a topic that is of interest to those you expect to visit your sites and if it interests you as well, then that’s great. Niche Research it of very high importance and you should not cut any corners on this step. From that referenced link, you can see that its not that difficult to do but most people skip it or just simply go for their hobby then realise there’s no money or wide interest in their chosen niche to warrant the time and effort required to manage a site. Frustration sets in and they claim this online business thing doesn’t work as most claim
Make sure you write interesting content and write every day – Okay, at least try to write every day. I for one can’t do it because I seem to have a lot going on almost all the time. From partying, recovering from the party, learning new tricks, testing new tricks, joint venturing even procrastinating at times. Basically, in the real world, it may not be possible to write every day despite the desire and good it would be for your site. Be realistic in your self expectations otherwise, you won’t enjoy your time online which is a very important factor in your success here.

You must have more than one site – We’ve got more than 200 sites and that number is constantly growing but we don’t target AdSense as much as we did in our earlier years online. Now, it’s just a bit on the side or not there at all as can be seen on one of our newest Residual Income Strategies blog here. Basically, the more sites you have, the more ads have the potential to get clicked on. That’s the power of numbers though aim to walk before you run.
The fact is we had a lot more than 400 sites but we sold some of them as they more of built for AdSense type sites. We also know of a lot more tweaks now that we thought it best to keep the best tweaked sites or those we build now and get rid of the old ones for a fee – Site flipping is yet another great money maker. See the residual income blog free report using the link above. If you’re quick, you’re now wondering how do we update over 200 sites and have a normal life. Leverage and out-sourcing works wonders but that’s not where you should start if just getting started.
Testing and tracking is very important though can be boring. Ensure you do some form of it in your virtual real estate setup. Set up Adsense channels and monitor your statistics across all sites. Consider Google Anlytics too. We also have a free site hits counter you can make use of to show you details about who visited, where they came from when and much more besides.
If you find that one site is performing poorly, consider changing the content or the ad layout compare to the one performing better not forgeting to look at your competitors’ sites for ideas to swipe. Test, test, test and Experiment too! You can change the ad layout monthly to work out which layout works the best for your particular site visitors. There are many different layout options and there’s no way you can know which one will perform the best for your traffic.
Google search different key words or phrases paying attention to how much, what kinds of content and ads you see in the first 5 pages as a maximum
There’s a lot to learn especially when first starting but also there’s a sea of useful internet marketing information online. Join your niche relevant forums and read the previous posts but don’t be afraid to ask questions while in there.
Once you find a formula that works for a site, go nuts and roll those sites out like mad from paying attention to the results you get from the new sites. What I mean here is look to get more sites in the same niche that’s performing the best and that way someone will most likely end up on one of your sites if they search a keyword in the niche you’re targeting. So broaden your niche via multiple site this in future will help you in the building of an authority site should you choose to.
You can make use of this step-by-step internet marketing series that hand holds you the correct way through your progress.

Free Site Traffic – SEO
Hiya,
Yesterday I replied to a post in a forum and then thought it might be a good post for this blog too and below is the exact post.
It was in response to someone getting about a dollar per month in Adsense from his 10 sites
he also wanted to know whether to have a domain name relating to the niche or a random name
Here goes …
Hi All,
I you want quick and instant ranking for a search term then the name of the domain including that search term helps a lot. But bare in mind that you’ll now be locked into that particular niche so you better enjoy writing about it.
Also this wont hold you up there much longer unless you do a lot of extra on site and off site SEO. Offsite being king of course.
The name really means nothing other than cosmetics as far as I am concern. YouTube ranks pretty well and that “tube” name has nothing to do with video sharingÂ
If you’re not sure of a niche then you best stick to free properties to test that niche before settling on the one you feel performs better in ranking for the target keyword, brings your more traffic and of course buyers not browsers.
How do you tell?
Go for niche KWs rather than broad match eg. Searching for the word television doesnt mean I really want to buy now. I may be checking what’s out there. So, let them check else where and come to you when they’re ready to but LG Flatscreen KXP. I hope that makes sense
Basically, start with free sites on Squidoo, wordpress, bloggerblog, yahoo360, hubpages.
Create 2+ sites on each around the same broad topic say televisions, flat screen televisions etc general terms and then make them link to each other in a one way NOT receiprical but dont close the ring. Then create one site on a domain say yourtelevion-reviews.com and have specific brand names on here – affiliate links of course.
The free sites will be your testing sites for various KWs and will rank well in time. Syndicate their RSS feeds and post some crazy vidseos on several sites pointing back to them togive then ranking power for the terms you’re targeting (TVs in this example)
All the free sites should point to your money site – your domain making them feeder sites on authority domains.
Then build links for teh main site too and before long you’ll see free and easy rankings with descent traffic or people ready to buy.
Start small as you’ll have loads to learn and there are always surprises along the way. If there’s a chane of something breaking, then it will in most cases. Start with one setup and have it running then get to the next. Multi-tasking can be a time waster at times – Trust Me On That!
My video upload is done – bye allÂ
Oh! Got my site to page 1, 2, 3, 5 & 8 in a day testing some FREE promo method as I hate paying for AdWords
